HOT TOPIC

Back to School - Back to your Job Search! Think of all the attention and preparation that is given to children returning to school. Parents face the added responsibilities of registering their children, getting the appropriate vaccinations, shopping for school clothes, school supplies and finishing various other tasks in order to make the transition from summer to school as smooth as possible. Children are experiencing a combination of excitement, apprehension and unhappiness because summer is coming to a close.

What preparations have you made to return to work? Have you added your resume to the job boards? Have you registered with an employment firm? Have you sent your resume directly to hiring authorities at your target companies? Have you put in the extra effort and time it takes to make your journey from unemployed to being employed as smooth as possible? Do you dress appropriately for interviews? Do you often feel excitement about a new opportunity but then get taken over by the fear of rejection?

As kids go back to school, you need to go back to a full fledged job search with a high level of enthusiasm and positive expectations. Be the most prepared job seeker and look forward to enjoying positive results.
